We also offer the Best Way Brazilian Jiu Jitsu System of Andre "Dedeco" Alemeida - 4th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and World Champion. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Submission Wrestling) is primarily a ground-fighting art. While it contains a variety of standup techniques for winning a fight, it is most famous for its devastating ground fighting. Through leverage and skill, it enables a physically weaker opponent to defeat the larger opponent despite the greater strength difference. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also known for the variety of techniques available such as chokes, joint locks, escapes, and reversals. It’s an incredibly exciting, sports-based combat martial art, and Lysak's Academy of MMA is thrilled that World Champion Andre "Dedeco" Almeida is the head instructor of the Best way BJJ program that is taught at our academy.
